By accessing or using Leafa: AI Plant Identifier (the "App"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. These terms apply to all users of the App.

If you are using the App on behalf of an organization, you agree to these terms on behalf of that organization.

Leafa is an AI-powered iOS application that identifies plants from photos you take or upload. The App uses artificial intelligence to analyze plant images and provide identification results, care tips, and related information.

Leafa is free to download and is supported by advertising. An optional premium subscription is available that removes ads — see sections 3 and 4 below.

The free version of Leafa is supported by advertising. By using it, you agree that we may display advertisements — including app open ads, interstitial ads, native ads, and banners — served through Google AdMob and its mediation partners.

Where required by law we ask for your consent before showing personalized ads, and iOS separately asks your permission before tracking. Declining does not limit your access to the App — you will simply see non-personalized ads instead.

Advertisements are supplied by third parties. We do not endorse, control, or take responsibility for the content of any ad, or for the products, services, or websites it links to. Any dealings you have with an advertiser are solely between you and them.

Leafa offers an optional auto-renewable weekly subscription ("Leafa Premium") that removes advertisements and unlocks the full experience. The exact price is always shown in your local currency inside the App before you confirm any purchase.

If a free trial is offered and you are eligible, your paid subscription begins automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel beforehand. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited if you purchase a subscription during the trial period.

All payments are processed by Apple through your Apple Account — we never receive or store your payment card details. Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription; you must cancel through Apple.

Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store Terms of Sale, not by us. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please request it through Apple's support site. If you reinstall the App or change device, you can recover an active subscription using Restore Purchase in the App.

We may change subscription pricing or the features included in premium. Price changes will not apply to your current billing period, and where required we will ask for your consent before any increased price takes effect.

You may use Leafa for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these terms. Permitted uses include:

You agree not to use the App in any way that is unlawful, harmful, or contrary to these terms. The following are strictly prohibited:

Leafa uses AI technology to identify plants based on the photos you provide. While we strive for accuracy, AI-based identification is not infallible and results may occasionally be incorrect.

We are not responsible for any decisions you make based on plant identification results from the App. Always exercise caution and consult expert sources when in doubt — especially regarding plant toxicity or edibility.

All content, design, graphics, and code within Leafa are the intellectual property of the App's developer and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App without our prior written consent.

You retain ownership of any photos you submit to the App. By submitting a photo, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process that image solely for the purpose of providing plant identification results.

You are responsible for ensuring that photos you submit do not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws. Do not submit images that contain personal data of other individuals without their consent.

Leafa is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to reliance on plant identification results.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim (if any).

Leafa is not directed at children under the age of 13. If you are under 13, please do not use the App. If you are between 13 and 18 years old, you may only use the App with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, including for any purchase.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App at any time, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms of Use or if required by applicable law.

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device — remember to cancel any active subscription separately through Apple. Sections of these terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. When we make meaningful changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify users through an in-app notice.

Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation wherever possible.
